I highly recommend The Dance Academy

When my daughter started with The Dance Academy she was excited to learn a variety of different dance styles.

I first put her in dance for fitness  but she grew a love for dance and a love for her teacher. Dawn has provided her with important lessons and as the studio has grown so has my daughter. The variety of different dance styles that are offered is phenomenal especially living in small town Maleny.

Currently my daughter is doing Acro and since the start of this term, I have been able to see the enormous development  of her skills. The staff know each dancers ability as well as limitations and they are just able to push the envelope to provide excellent results. I can’t say enough outstanding words to express how working great this studio is and how my daughter looks forward to going every week. I highly recommend The Dance Academy !

Congratulations on the end of year concert it was absolutely amazing. We have seen a huge change in Olivia this year around her commitment to dance, eagerness to participate and also a huge boost in her self confidence. My daughter’s technique, overall fitness, confidence and love of dance has taken a massive leap since starting at Maleny Dance Academy. Miss Dawn, Miss Anna and Eli provide a magic combination of supportive, fun, high-quality dance tuition. Great to have this standard of tuition, usually only available on the Coast or Brisbane, right here in Maleny. I think the hour-long classes (in the case of my daughter’s age group) are great value for money as the students get more practice time and make faster progress – by the end of term, they’ve had 10 hours contact time.
